  1. A Better Day

From the recordings Like A Stone and A Better Day

We can all be overwhelmed with information. We have available to us so much more information about anything and everything than we could ever possibly need. Let’s slow down and learn how to filter this information down to the smallest amount we really need. Our common subconscious goal is to make every day a better day. It has to be an effort. It simply does not happen on its own, and we have all day to get it done. So don’t let yourself get caught in the downward spiral of complaining and fearing for the future. Tomorrow can always be a better day.

Lyrics

Tell me what it’s all about
All the things I really need to know
We hear the stories going around
Funny how the words begin to flow
Gonna find what we all become
In the end our hearts begin to show

I always think about the things they say
Just for the minute or the day
But after all it’s almost yesterday
Anyway hey hey hey

So give it all another chance
To let it all work out
To make today a better day
And leave yourself a time to dance
Some things to laugh about
To make today a better day

Wonder where it all began
All the ways to rise before the fall
Who knows when you’re going to land
Doing time just waiting for the call
Don’t wait until you understand
There’s a reason we don’t know it all

I always wonder bout the things they say
Just for the minute or the day
But after all it’s almost yesterday
Anyway hey hey hey

So give it all another chance
To let it all work out
To make today a better day
And leave yourself a time to dance
Some things to laugh about
To make today a better day

Out beyond the shadow is a rolling sea of light
Calling us to be who we can be
In this ever changing life we always have a plan
Still we never know
Who will come and go

So give it all another chance
To let it all work out
To make today a better day
And leave yourself a time to dance
Some things to laugh about
To make today a better day
